ELR Training with John Beloit
Pushing past a mile takes more than a capable rifle. It takes a shooter who understands the fundamentals at distance — wind, atmospherics, DOPE, and the discipline to put it all together under pressure. That's what we're here to help you build.
About Your Coach John Beloit is a professional ELR shooter based out of Pilot Rock, Oregon. He's an avid outdoorsman, trap shooting coach, and reloads his own ammunition — so when he talks about what it takes to connect at extreme long range, he's speaking from the range, not a textbook. John has spent years dialing in loads, reading wind, and competing at the highest levels of ELR shooting. He brings that same no-nonsense, results-focused approach to every training session.

Hunting package
$250 takes 2-3hrs, This package starts with mounting/check your scope for level and going over how the turret works of you have one, go over some effects of wind and atmospheric’s when shooting. Go to the range if not already there and zero gun shot across the chronograph to get real MV data. Build your drop chart in app you have installed on phone/tablet and then shoot distance and true the BC. We will shoot from the shooting table going out to a max distance out to 1000 yards depending on caliber, ammo and scope capabilities. This will be determined by me. There are no refunds if your gun doesn’t shoot and we can not proceed to the longer distance targets. You will have to schedule another time and try it again.
Long Range package
$500 takes about 4hrs, This package starts with mounting/checking your scope for level then going over how the scope works, go over wind, atmospheric’s, effects of elevation and temp when shooting. If not all ready there then go to range and zero the firearm at 100-200 yards and shot across the chronograph to get real MV data. Build your drop chart in app you have installed on phone/tablet and then shoot distance and true the BC. After this is done We will shoot from the shooting table and/or my shooting platform taking the firearm out to a distance of 1200 -1700ish yards depending on caliber, ammo and scope capabilities. This will be determined by me. There are no refunds if your gun doesn’t shoot and we can not proceed to the longer distance targets. You will have to schedule another time and try it again.
Extreme Long Range
$1000 everything above with way more I depth to wind calling, reading wind, everything I know about ELR shooting. This will be taking your rifle out to a 2 mile distance if possible. This class takes all day lunch included. You need to bring enough ammo to shot from 100yards to 2 miles. Need all load data and the proper equipment that we will go over when you decide what class you would like.
